AboutWORLD YOUTH COUNCIL AGAINST TERRORISM

The International Youth Conference on Terrorism held at New Delhi, in the presence of the UN observer, Mr Feodor Starcevic, unanimously decided to establish the "World Youth Council Against Terrorism" (WYCAT) as part of the New Delhi Declaration to continue the fight against terrorism in an organized manner. Ms Virginia Mullin, expert from USA proposed the name of Mr. G Kishan Reddy, National President, BJYM, India as the Chairman of the World Youth Council Against Terrorism. The proposal was unanimously supported and accepted by the delegates present. WYCAT is a non-political, non-profit confederation of youth organizations and individuals all over the world. WYCAT would carry forward the battle against terrorism both in the ideological plane and in the practical plane.

AIMS

1. To provide an apolitical and non-profit making platform for youth of the world from Governmental and Non-governmental organizations, political parties, stakeholder groups, researchers and experts to join hands together in the fight against terrorism

2. To carry forward the international efforts of youth against terrorism till that time the menace of terrorism is eradicated from the earth
3. To co-ordinate with and provide assistance to International organizations like the UNO in the mission of eradication of terrorism
